Parish Council
The Annunciation Parish in Pensacola, FL is chartered under the Greek
Orthodox Archdiocese of America and is assigned to the Metropolis of Atlanta. We
are regulated by the Archdiocese's Uniform Parish Regulations. In accordance
with the UPR, we hold two regular General Assembly meetings each year (one in
the spring and one in the fall). This provides opportunities for the parish
leadership to report to the membership on programs, ministries and financial
issues. The Parish Council is a group of 11/12 dedicated parishioners who work
closely with the priest to serve as stewards and oversee the business matters of
the church. The parish elects eleven members to serve on the Parish Council. Six
are elected in odd years and five on the even years. The Parish Council meets on
the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm in the Parish Hall. Meetings are
closed.
