Altar Guild

The Altar Guild attends to the housekeeping of the altar, sacred vessels, vestments, altar, linens, icons, and provides necessary articles to be used in services. Special volunteer needs include baking the Prosfora, sewing vestments, and providing flowers for the altar.

Acolytes (Altar Boys)

Our Altar Boy program begins new every year in September. All boys who have reached the age of 8 or older and who want to commit the time and the devotion to share in the unique opportunity of serving as Altar boys, should contact the priest or one of the adults working in the altar. This program allows our young boys the special opportunity to experience the richness and the beauty of our Divine Liturgy from up close. It also gives them the freedom to serve the Lord throughout the year.
