About the Annunciation Parish

Located in Escambia County, Florida, The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Christian Church has served the greater Pensacola area for 100 years. Our community serves approximately 150 families with many ministries and activities which are focused on a closer relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church is under the jurisdiction of the Metropolis of Atlanta, under the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America which is an Eparchy of Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople.

We are located at 1720 West Garden Street in Pensacola. Yahoo Map. Our Parish Priest is the Rev. Father Panagiotis Papanikolaou. You can read Father's monthly message on the Clergy page. The Sunday Services are Orthros beginning at 8:45 am followed by the Divine Liturgy at 10:00 am. Sunday School classes for our youth begin following Holy Communion. MESSAGE OF ECUMENICAL PATRIARCH BARTHOLOMEW ON GULF OIL SPILL

In early May, His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch BARTHOLOMEW issued a message in response to the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. His message laments the destruction of our natural environment as a result of this disaster. He calls for higher levels of accountability and concern for the created order and for prayers and support for the clean up efforts and actions to prevent future catastrophes.
