About the Annunciation Parish

Located in Escambia County, Florida, The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Christian Church has served the greater Pensacola area for 100 years. Our community serves approximately 150 families with many ministries and activities which are focused on a closer relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church is under the jurisdiction of the Metropolis of Atlanta, under the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America which is an Eparchy of Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople.

We are located at 1720 West Garden Street in Pensacola. Yahoo Map. Our Presiding Priest is the Rev. Protopresbyter Panagiotis Papanikolaou. You can read Father's monthly message on the Clergy page. The Sunday Services are Orthros beginning at 8:45 am followed by the Divine Liturgy at 10:00 am. Sunday School classes for our youth begin following Holy Communion.  Please check the Online Parish Calendar for additional Services.

Centennial Albums are still available for purchase.  These make great gifts. If interested, please contact the Church office or George Apostle.

The Messenger - our parish monthly bulletin which is mailed to all parishioners and is available in the Narthex of the Church. An electronic copy is available on this website from the News page.   Articles are due by the 15th of each month and should be mailed to office@annunciationgoc.org.   Short weekly announcements will be included in the printed Sunday Liturgical Guide available in the Church.
